Dan Rather's recent assertion in the dispute over the forged memos that the documents were fake, but true, made me think of this quote from George Costanza on Seinfeld: "It's not a lie if you believe it." Now the CBS/NYT/Kerry/IAEA (?) claims about the missing explosives in Iraq seem to apply this rule as well. It's not a lie if the voters believe it, right Senator?
