I've been fascinated today reading about the events going on in the Ukraine. The spirit of a pro-democracy revolution is alive and well as the people are fighting (peacefully, so far) for their re-independence from authoritarianism and the influence of Russian power. I pray they succeed.
Several sites are documenting the events from Kiev including Tulipgirl, Postmodernclog, The Periscope, Foreign Notes. Other sites are following it as well include Instapundit, and A Fistful of Euros.
I hope to write more on this later, but alas, I have to sleep. Tomorrow, of course, is Thanksgiving. Hopefully, I'll be back online Friday.
