This article in the Financial Times reveals more secret and unhelpful activities of the (now, former) Kuchma regime and its KGB-ish intelligence service. Already accused of selling radar systems to Saddam, killing a journalist, and poisoning the new president, it seems they may have also sold long-range missiles (that can carry nuclear warheads!) to China and Iran.
